Dr. Christina Merl is a social learning strategist, community of practice facilitator, and lecturer at universities of applied sciences. Her expertise encompasses the design, implementation and facilitation of hybrid collaborative and creative learning environments. She conceptualises and facilitates learning processes in interdisciplinary, cross-hierarchical, multilingual settings.

Christina Merl's integrated 2CG® methodology mix (2CG = content & context-specific generic competency coaching) supports modern-day learners in developing 21st century skills with a focus on communication skills, collaborative skills, creativity and imagination, critical and connected thinking skills. Christina Merl is the founder of TalkShop/2CG® and President of Poetry in Business, a non-for-profit association that aims at promoting the development of 21st century skills with customised impulses from literature, poetry, puppetry, visual art, dance and music.

Bringing over 20 years of work experience in the field of journalism, translation science, corporate training and community of practice facilitation, Dr. Merl's expertise encompasses an analytical and creative approach towards the design and implementation of collaborative learning processes in hybrid, cross-functional, cross-hierarchical and multilingual settings. She regularly presents at universities, in companies, at conferences and events. Her paper "Fostering 21st Century Skills in Engineering Students. 2CG®: A Contemporary Teaching Approach" won the Best Paper Award at ICL 2018.
